This is Paul Van Heukelom (Fellow Chief Resident with Papa), their friend Ben Schlicher, and Papa at their medical school graduation.
Just a quick note to let you all know that my esteemed Papa has been named one of the two CHIEF residents for his final year of residency. The job starts in mid-June with the graduation of the current 3rd year class and gives him responsibilities such as scheduling, education, and politicing. :-) The job doesn't provide him anymore salary though...he says it's more of a "prestige thing". Ha ha ha. Congratulations, Papa! Mama and I are super proud of you!
